About Zephyr Books & Coffee
Zephyr Books & Coffee is a family-owned, independent bookstore and coffeeshop located in historic downtown Yreka in Northern California. With a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere, we provide our customers with the perfect place to sit and relax with a high-quality, organic cup of Northbound coffee to drink, many great books to read, and old-school vinyl music jam to and enjoy. Whether you want to read, study, work, or just hangout with friends and family, Zephyr Books & Coffee is the best spot to go. We have games to play, books to browse, the internet to surf, and delicious food to eat to make the most out of your visit. For the avid readers, we offer book credit in exchange for gently used book donations to get discounts on future book purchases. For daily coffee drinkers, we have stamp cards to earn yourself a free coffee once it’s filled. Also, if you’re short on time but still need your fix, we have online-ordering and curbside pickup available through the Joe Coffee App, where you can also earn rewards and discounts on your orders. For the generous givers, we have gift cards and wonderfully unique gift items available to make someone’s day and put a smile on a loved-one’s face! All people of all ages are welcome, and we guarantee there’s something for everyone at Zephyr Books & Coffee. Come on down to our little shop on West Miner Street and enjoy the Zephyr experience. Meet the Team
Debbie, Guy and Zapata are the three creators and owners of Zephyr Books & Coffee, and Zephyr, Zapata’s son, is the store’s namesake. We pride ourselves in the fact that our business is family-owned and stays true to family-oriented values. From 2016 to the present, we continue to work hard in all aspects of creating and sustaining the shop so many have come to love and enjoy.
